The course has 6 modules and 5+ hours of content. There are over 40 video lessons which you can take at your own pace: You can learn whenever and wherever you want to, for as long as you need to.
I recommend taking the course in order as the more advanced concepts are presented at the end, however, you are free to watch the parts which interest you the most first, or re-watch all the videos as many times as you want!

IN MY COURSE YOU WILL LEARN:
In the first part of the course, I introduce myself, my artistic journey, and what led me to develop the techniques and style I use today. We'll begin with a light, welcoming overview of my workspace and the materials I love. From traditional brushes and gold inks to digital tools like the iPad and light pad, I’ll show you the essentials I use every day. You’ll discover different types of paper, how to build your first palette with inks and watercolors, and the magic of metallic paints. We'll also look at the quiet allies in a painter’s toolkit—those little tools that make a big difference. The section wraps up with a gentle daily drawing challenge and an exercise on linework using lemon and leaf shapes to help you warm up.
This part dives into watercolor and ink techniques and begins your journey into portrait drawing. We’ll create swatch charts and explore color mixing before learning how to use wet-on-dry and wet-on-wet methods to build rich, textured backgrounds. Techniques like gradients, fusions, layering, and lavis will help you develop depth and atmosphere in your art. You’ll apply these in a serpent-themed exercise blending watercolor, ink, and colored pencil. Shifting focus to the human face, I’ll guide you through drawing portraits in front, ¾, and profile views. We'll simplify the structure of the head, explore facial features like the eyes, nose, mouth, and even elven ears, and complete an exercise placing facial features on blank faces.
In the final part of the course, we focus on everything surrounding the face—hair, accessories, and full composition. You'll learn to simplify hair volumes, draw different textures, and explore various hairstyles. We’ll walk through inking hair with brush pens and how to add thoughtful details like glasses, tattoos, and jewelry. Then, we’ll bring everything together in a black-and-white queen illustration. You’ll discover how I find inspiration using tools like PureRef, sketch digitally, transfer your work to paper, and use lavis and golds to add flair.
